Trivia Edit

Design Origin Edit

Troubait and its evolution line reference the "This is bait" fish from image macros replying to allegedly trolling posts, and, by extension, the popular Internet phrase "gr8 b8 m8". It may also reference "clickbait", a term used to describe a video with a misleading thumbnail used to attract attention and views.

Name Origin Edit

Troubait is a combination of trout, troll, bait, and clickbait.
